The painter of the giant cover of Whiskey Days, Artist Lindsay Peyton explores place, passage of time, nostalgia and memory in her work. She started studying oil painting as a teenager and fell immediately, deeply in love with the medium. More recently, she has become interested in the liminal space between 2D and 3D art, as well as installation. Peyton earned her Master of Fine Arts from Central Washington University and her bachelor’s in photojournalism from the University of Texas at Austin. She has completed residencies in Kentucky, Nebraska and Washington.
